The blockbuster Malayalam film Drishyam is being remade in both Tamil and Telugu. The Tamil remake of the film will have Kamal Haasan reprising the role of Mohanlal. However, there are still doubts regarding the actress who will take up the role of Mohanlal’s wife. The buzz going around is that Meena who played the character in the original is not likely to be in the remake since Haasan does not want to be paired with her. However, a source close to the actor has refuted such claims and said that these are all baseless rumours. According to him, Kamal has worked with almost all the actresses in South except Nadia Moidu, which is why she was brought although both the actresses are being considered for the role.
In Telugu remake though, Meena is takeing up the role same role as the original while Nadia will play the role of IG. More details on this project will be out soon.
