Why Sridevi returned after 20 years?

Sridevi is an all India diva. Once there was a time when the beauty queen was the reigning queen of South Cinema namely Tollywood, Kollywood and Mollywood. After moving to Bollywood, she became all India number one heroine with many back to back hits. Once in a while she came back to South to do some prestigious films in South.

However Sridevi didn’t do a South film since twenty years. Even her comeback film was in Hindi only. Inspite of many efforts from many big producers to bring her back to South movies, Sri remained silent about her future projects. But after listening to the script of Vijay’s next project to go on to the sets after ‘Kaththi’, the actress says she felt that this one is what she is waiting for.

Sridevi is playing princess in the film where there is a big ensemble of popular star cast. A song is being picturised on big scale on Sridevi alongside Vijay, Sudeep and Hansika with a hundred dancers and the magnanimity of the song picturisation is leaving everyone speechless. A very big extravagant set is built for the same reveal the sources. The film is being directed by Shimbudevan while Devi Sri Prasad is providing tunes for this prestigious 150 crore crazy project.
