Will Akhil’s Agent Decimate PS2?

Akhil Akkineni is coming up with the much-awaited Agent this week. After many delays and postponements, the film is now releasing on April 28. Akkineni fans are hoping that this film will give them the success they waited for. Mani Ratnam’s much-hyped historical period drama, Ponniyin Selvan 2, is also releasing on the same date.

For any fandom, the real happiness comes when their favorite hero’s film not only becomes successful but also decimates the opponent.

There is not much hype for PS 2 in Telugu states, and it is expected that Agent will dominate the box office. ‘Agent’ just needs a positive word of mouth after its first show, and it can thrash PS 2 in a big way since it’s an action film.

April 28 is a great date, and there has been a dearth of good stylish action thrillers of late. If Agent delivers what it promises to be, then the film will not only become successful at the box office, but it will also decimate a big opponent like Ponniyin Selvan 2 in Telugu.

After being dejected due to the non-performance of Akkineni films for a while now, Agent can turn out to be that thigh-slapping film for fans for which they have been waiting for years.

Akhil, who is yet to score a hit on his name, also will get a huge morale boost if this film outperforms an epic film like Ponniyin Selvan 2.
