Will Mahesh and Mani Ratnam team up for a bilingual?

While Mahesh Babu’s “1:Nenokkadine” has opened to mixed reviews, there is news that the superstar will soon team up with ace filmmaker for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. But there hasn’t been any confirmed news on the same and whatever we have heard so far is based on the rumours that have surfaced.

Apparently, Mani Ratnam had decided to take his time to firm up his next as he is currently working on three scripts. Since has been taking too much time on his projects, one wonders if he has dropped his idea of making the Hindi film Lajjo. But now, he has decided to do an action entertainer. Mahesh Babu has been approached for this Tamil-Telugu bilingual, which will be made on a large scale. Mahesh’s wife Namrata had apparently said that Mahesh and Mani are in talks for a project soon.

But the million dollar question is whether Mahesh go ahead and work with Mani after seeing the initial response to his latest film that hasn’t been received so well by the audience. We have to wait and see.
