Will Nagarjuna Succeed Where Balakrishna Failed?

The biggest biopic that Tollywood saw so far has been the biopic on legendary actress Savitri, titled Mahanati. After this, the art of making biopics on legendary actors had started to trend.

Immediately after Mahanati came legendary actor NTR’s biopic. in two parts, with Balakrishna himself playing the role of NTR in both the films. There were a lot of expectations on the films, but they failed to live up to the legend of NTR and turned out to be disappointing for everyone involved, and even fans were disappointed.

For a long time now, legendary actor ANR’s biopic has also been in great demand. Akkineni Nagarjuna has recently been asked about his father’s biopic yet again, during a press meet held for Wild Dog. He said that he is very much interested in making his father’s biopic, but that he has to be careful about it, as it has to be perfect. He said that he will definitely make it, but after having planned it properly.

With Nagarjuna saying that he’s being very careful with his father’s biopic, we can safely assume that he might be able to succeed where Balakrishna failed, in terms of making a biopic that lives up to his father’s legend.
