Yami to give equal importance to Tollywood

Bollywood actress Yami Gautham may have had a terrible Telugu debut with Allu Sirish-starrer ‘Gouravam’, but that has not deterred the young actress, who is still interested in doing Telugu films whenever she’s offered an interesting project. In fact, her recent Telugu film with Tarun has bombed at the box-office.

Yami says box-office results don’t concern but her roles does. She would being part of a INR 100 crore project film with hardly any role than doing a powerful role in a small film. She said she Gouravam for the fact that it had a very powerful story, which unfortunately has not gone down well with the audience. Unfortunately for this Punjabi lass, after her successful cinematic debut ‘Vicky Donor’, she has not been able to make any inroads in the industry.

Yami says she has signed a new Telugu project, about which she can’t talk at the moment. But she says she signed it majorly because she loved the story and her role in particular.
