Puri’s Most Important Assignment Begins!

Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Srinu’s upcoming film, Skanda has almost completed its shooting part and is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 15th.

For his next project, Ram is collaborating with Puri Jagannadh for the second part of their blockbuster film, iSmart Shankar. The sequel is titled Double iSmart.

The film’s title and release date were revealed on Ram’s birthday. Today, the opening ceremony of the movie has happened in Hyderabad.

The grand launch event was attended by the film’s team and a few special guests. For the auspicious first shot featuring Ram, Charmme handled the clapboard, while Puri directed it. Ram uttered the dialogue, “iSmart Shankar alias Double iSmart,” to commence the first shot.

As announced by the filmmakers, Double iSmart will begin filming on the 12th of this month. This is the most important assignment in Puri’s career after his last film, Liger tanked at the box office.
