12 Spot dead as RTC bus accident!

An RTC bus traveling from Madakasira to Penukonda in Anantapur district fell down in to a gorge. It is said that 12 passengers were spot dead while 30 others were severely injured. The incident occurred at around 8:30 AM this morning.

The injured have been shifted to different hospitals in Hindupur and Anantapur. According to the initial reports, some road work was going on near the accident spot along with the driver’s negligence caused the accident

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed his shock on the accident and ordered district collector to carry out immediate rescue works. Ministers Sidda Raghava Rao and Palle Raghunadha Reddy were rushed to the spot to supervise the rescue works.
