14th Finance Commission recommends huge help to AP!The 14th Finance Commission had submitted its report for the Central government and it is today tabled in the Parliament. To the much respite of Andhra Pradesh, Finance commission recommended that the state should get a bigger helping hand from the center to develop financially and industrially.

Andhra Pradesh is getting 13000 Crore from Planning Commission till now and the Finance Commission opined that this help should increase by several folds in the wake of state bifurcation. The commission recommended 30000 Crore to AP in the form of funds and grants for the next year which means the state should be getting One Lakh Fifty Thousands Crores from the center in the next five years.

The commission also made recommendations to allocation of funds for the construction of the upcoming state capital. It is recommended that 5000 Crore should allotted this year for the capital expenses and 20000 Crore every year in the subsequent years till the construction is complete. The finance commission also recommended a Special award of 7000 Crore to the state.
