5 Lakh for a Brahmin girl on WhatsApp!

Amid rising cries of intolerance in the country, a horrific message that is doing rounds in Gujarat appeals to Muslim youth to marry girls from other religions for cash. This offer in going around on social messaging application Whatsapp.

Interesting, the WhatsApp post even specifies different rates of rewards for marrying women from different religions. The message offers the Musli youths 5 lakhs for a Hindu Brahmin girl, 7 lakh for a Sikh Punjabi girl, 4.5 lakhsfro a girl from Kshatriya Hindu community, 6 lakhs for a Gujarat Brahmin girl, 6 lakhs for Punjabi Hindu, 4 lakhs for Christian Roman Cathlolic, 4 lakhs for Christian Protestant, 3 lakhs for Jain, and another 3 lakhs for Gujarati Kutch girl.

This is clearly a case of Love jihad and the message is circulated around by ‘Students of Muslim Youth Forum.’
