
A huge theft happened at the KIA factory in Satysai district’s Penukonda. The issue has come out lately.
The KIA management had complained to the police on March 19 that 900 engines were stolen from its factory. Initially, the management requested that no case must be filed. However, the police refused to go ahead due to this condition.

Finally, the KIA management filed a case after which the police took up investigation. The higher officials set up a special team to look into the matter.
Different parts come from different places to KIA factory. The engines come from Tamil Nadu. The police are trying to figure out if the engines were stolen en route or if they were stolen at KIA factory. The police believe that the theft was a continuous process that happened over five years. They say that the engine theft started in 2000.

It is said that the investigation is complete. The police will hold a press conference and disclose the details.
