News Channels in Andhra Pradesh are divided on the lines of their support for political parties. This mad race intensified with the advent of YS Raja Sekhar Reddy backed Sakshi. There are few channels which are backing Botsa Satya Narayana, Kiran Kumar Reddy and KCR too. KCR’s Raj TV got Telangana stamp on it and the popularity of the channel took a deep dip. Subsequently, the channel was closed down.
It is said that the channel is now going to be relaunched now. Swapna of Sakshi fame has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for this channel. The channel will be supporting Bharatiya Janta Party and is being funded by an industrialist supporting the party in AP. The channel crew will be briefed by BJP State President, Kishan Reddy very soon about the party’s expectations. The channel’s relaunch will happen on March 5th.
