AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal is one of the political leaders who rose to heights within a short period of time and within no time slided down the success ladder much faster than anticipated. After resigning from the office as CM of Delhi, he is blamed for pushing Delhi into Governor’s rule. Now he is once again fighting for Delhi Assembly elections, his main target being PM Modi.
Coming to the point, those days when he was with Anna Hazare and protesting against the government, hot siren Mallika Sherawat was said to have met Kejriwal to support the cause against corruption and film maker Bokadia who intended to make a film on ‘Dirty Politics’ offered Arvind Kejriwal a role beside Mallika. But Kejriwal was already into politics by then and hence rejected the offer.
The role went to talented actor Naseeruddin Shah. And Bokadia went on with making the film with Mallika and Naseeruddin. By 2013, when Arvind Kejriwal was in the election arena fighting for Delhi Assembly elections, he asked Bokadia to release ‘Dirty Politics’. But Bokadia didn’t agree then. Now the movie is ready for release and Bokadia is extremely happy to have roped in one of the finest actor Naseeruddin Shah. But for Kejriwal it was a missed opportunity which he reminisced recently.
