Nandamuri Daughter-in-law Into Politics, Not Into TDP?

Late Nandamuri Tarak Ratna’s wife Alekhya Reddy has announced that she will be entering politics. Coming from a political background herself, her keenness to join politics does not come as a surprise.

She is the niece of ex YSRCP leader Vijaysai Reddy. Alekhya is Sai Reddy’s wife’s sister’s daughter. Now the big surprise is Alekhya’s statement on not deciding on a party yet. Being the daughter-in-law of Nandamuri family, one would have expected her to join the TDP. As she belongs to a political background, it would have been a strategic move. It would have also promised growth in her political career.

But Alekhya Reddy’s comments about looking for an appropriate party are raising eyebrows. If TDP is not an option, then YSRCP can be the next option, if Jagan moves the right pawns.

This will mean that Alekhya will into another Lakshmi Parvati, a frustrated wife.

But Alekhya Reddy has another option of joining the BJP. However, this could depend on Vijaysai Reddy’s next move. For now, it’s time to wait and watch!
