MLC Jayamangala Venkata Ramana, who recently resigned from YSRCP, fell at the feet of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Today, he met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is on a visit to the Polavaram project. Chandrababu took Jayamangala close to him affectionately. It is clear that Jayamangala is likely to return to the Telugu Desam Party soon.
It is known that Jayamangala recently resigned from the YSRCP and the post of MLC. Jayamangala Venkata Ramana left the Telugu Desam Party and joined the YSRCP because the YSRCP promised to give him the post of MLC.
After the defeat of the YSRCP in the last general elections, he resigned from the party and the post of MLC. However, his resignation is still pending with the council chairman.
Meanwhile, Jayamangala Venkata Ramana entered politics in 1999 through the Telugu Desam Party.
In the 2009 assembly elections, he contested from the Kaikalur constituency in Krishna district on behalf of the TDP and won as an MLA for the first time. In the 2019 assembly elections, he contested and lost on behalf of the TDP.
He joined the YSR Congress Party on February 17, 2023, before the MLC elections, while working as the TDP constituency in-charge since 2019. He was elected as an MLC from the MLA quota in the Legislative Council elections held in March 2023.
Immediately after joining YSR Congress Party, Jayamangala badmouthed Chandrababu Naidu a lot after leaving TDP.
He even announced that he would erect ‘Pedda Karma’ flexies for Chandrababu on one occasion.
Wishing death for a fatherly figure like Chandrababu is unacceptable, and that too after getting opportunities in the party for 22 years.The
TDP cadre was fuming over Jayamangala ever since then.
Immediately after his resignation, there were rumors that he would join the Janasena Party.
They urged Pawan Kalyan not to let him into the party for badmouthing Chandrababu Naidu.
But if TDP admits him into the party, it will be a blow to the face of the cadre.
It appears that leaders are always one and are ready to keep differences aside whenever needed.
For this very reason, People have become immune to defections and do not mind that any longer.
