Today marks a fresh restart for Amaravati, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending the event, officially kick-starting the project, and pledging his full support—both for the project and for Chandrababu Naidu, the visionary behind the mega capital.
During his speech at the Amaravati relaunch, PM Modi gave a major endorsement to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
He praised Naidu as someone who can efficiently use technology and emphasized that if there’s anyone who can launch and execute massive projects quickly and effectively, it is Chandrababu Naidu.
Modi also recalled his own time as Chief Minister of Gujarat, stating that he used to observe Naidu’s use of technology in Hyderabad and even sent his team to learn from Naidu’s policies and governance model.
This kind of praise from Prime Minister Modi is a huge elevation for Chandrababu Naidu. While Naidu is no newcomer to politics, such words from the Prime Minister has certainly captured media attention.
