Real estate is limping back to normal after the impact of the Pandemic. According to Anarock Research, Hyderabad recorded sales of approx. 6,735 housing units in Q3 2021 – a massive spike of over 300% over Q3 2020. The city has registered the highest Q3 rise with over 308% change (when compared to Q3 of 2022) among all the cities.

“Slowdown in the proposed capital of Andhra Pradesh (Amaravati) is a huge boost to Hyderabad Real estate. It has driven back investments and buyers back to Telangana’s capital. The former lost its sheen in the last 4-5 quarters. As a result, residential and commercial activity gained momentum,” he observed.

It is also to be noted that the slowdown in Amaravati did not benefit Vishakapatnam, the capital at which the current government is interested.
