On Monday, Ambati Rambabu was brought over from Rajahmundry jail where he was a remand prisoner, to Guntur. In Guntur, Ambati was presented before the Court and the Court sentenced remand for him.
Ambati Rambabu will remain in remand till February 22. Already, Ambati was in remand regarding the abuse of Chandrababu case. He was brought over from Rajahmundry and arguments were presented.
After the Court sentenced him to remand till February 22, Ambati was shifted to jail. After the ruling government decided to build medical colleges under PPP model, YSRCP held dharnas across the state. Ambati participated in the dharna held in Guntur.
At the time, a complaint was lodged against him for disrupting the work of police and violating law and order situation. He was presented before the Court on Monday regarding the case.
Ambati’s daughter is crying hoarse that her father has been arrested due to political vendetta. It has to be noted that she made an umbrella statement that she was thankful to all the supporters of her father who stood by the family carefully editing out Jagan’s name. Jagan had gone to console the family of Ambati in Guntur on February 4, 2026.
