Actor and politician Nagababu has strongly questioned the YSR Congress Party over its stand on the Kapu community. In a sharp tweet, he raised a series of direct questions targeting the party’s actions and decisions.
Nagababu asked whether people who abuse the “Chief Minister” are treated softly instead of being punished. He questioned the seriousness of the government in dealing with such incidents and alleged double standards in law enforcement.
He also questioned why the Kapu welfare scheme was named after Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy. According to him, if the party truly respects the Kapu community, it should explain the logic behind linking a community-specific scheme to a political leader’s name.
Further, Nagababu pointed out the exit of Vangaveeti Radhakrishna from YSRCP. He asked why a prominent Kapu leader was sidelined if the party genuinely cared about Kapu interests.
Nagababu’s tweet has triggered fresh political debate, especially among Kapu community circles. His remarks are being seen as a direct challenge to YSRCP’s claims of supporting the Kapu community, putting the party under pressure to respond clearly.
So far, there has been no official response from YSRCP to these questions.
