Going into the story, a gang of 5 men were partying behind the Vijaya Engineering College in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.
They were drinking beer from afternoon through till 10 PM last night. Then, one of the members, named Manikanta Swami realised that his Apple airpods were missing.
The other member grew suspicious on Chennur Ajay Sai and questioned him about the AirPods. He replied he threw them aside. The gang then started searching for the AirPods but they didn’t find them.
They then started beating this Ajay with hands and sticks. They kept thrashing him, asking him to return the airpods as they felt he stole them. This happened when everyone was drunk.
Unable to bear the thrashing, Ajay collapsed on the floor. Other members then quickly took him to Vijaya hospital emergency ward, where he was pronounced dead.
The end story is that a pair of missing airpods resulted in a batch of 5 killing one of their own. A police case has been registered and further investigation is underway now.
