AP Congress Betting on Old Horses?

The newly appointed Congress Incharge, Oommen Chandy is trying his level best to strengthen the party in Andhra Pradesh where it is beaten to death due to the bifurcation. Accordingly, he is in talks with the former Senior Leaders of Congress to bring them back

We are told that the Last Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy and former Amalapuram MP Harsha Kumar are on his radar. Kiran is politically inactive after 2014 debacle of his Jai Samayikya Andhra Party but softened his stand now.

Harsha Kumar even though not affiliated to any party since 2014, he is making political comments every now and then. A source in the Congress Party tells us that the talks are at an advanced stage and they will join the party at an appropriate time.
