The Package may be announced just before the budget session and the allocations for 2016-17 as per the package, will be incorporated in the Union Budget which will be tabled next month. It is said that Modi is of the opinion that any delay in the announcement will deprive of any political advantage to BJP in the state.
And so they are planning to put up the Special Package in this budget itself. Also the central government is planning to explain how they are going to compensate the promised Special Status which they are not giving now. This to avoid political nuisance by the opposition parties.
