AP Assembly to take up Roja’s issue

Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao made an announcement in Andhra Pradesh Assembly over the suspension of YSR Congress MLA, Roja. Kodela informed the house that Roja was suspended by the house on disciplinary grounds and the member later knocked the door of the courts over the issue. Kodela acknowledged receiving high court order issuing a temporary stay on her suspension.

Kodela announced that the high court verdict copies will be distributed to all the members in the court and the house will discuss on the further action in this issue on Monday after members go through the verdict. After the announcement, Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu continued with his answer on budget queries.

On the other side, YSR Congress boycotted the Assembly proceedings today protesting the government not allowing Roja in to the house. Jagan announced that the party will support Roja in all possible ways. They also gave a representation to Raj Bhavan for the Governor to interfere in this issue.
