AP BJP Leaders in Utter Confusion over Special Status

Andhra Pradesh BJP Leaders seem to be totally confused after BJP high command refused Special Status for the state, pushing the future of them and the party into the dilemma. The confusion is already visibly in the state leaders. AP Endowments Minister from BJP, Manikyala Rao controversially said there is no need of Special Status for the state.

He went on to say that Central government is of the opinion to develop the state without the Special Status. On the other side, BJP Floor Leader in Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Vishnu Kumar Raju went on to say the party is in deep trouble following the denial of Special Status to the state.

“Even my wife is asking me why BJP is refusing Special Status. The opposition is successful in making Special Status a sentimental issue in the people. BJP failed miserably in explaining to the people what it did to the state and what it will do the state further,” Vishnu Kumar Raju said. These contrary statements reveal the confusion in BJP leaders.
