AP Cabinet Decides on Land Pooling Again

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet met on Tuesday morning to discuss various matters regarding Amaravati and other issues across the state. The meeting was headed by CM Chandrababu.

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet took a decision to go for another round of land pooling to provide infrastructural facilities to people’s capital Amaravati. The rules of land pooling will remain the same though.

We have modified certain aspects without creating disturbance for the public, said Kolusu Parthasarathy who briefed the media about Cabinet decisions taken on Tuesday.

We will save water resources as per NGT and Supreme Court guidelines. We will get assigned, endowments and lanka lands to be assessed by JC. We will provide free education, medical aid to local farmers, said the Minister.

We will complete the buildings for which foundations have been laid to begin with. We will hand over the towers for which tenders have been approved to L&T, Shapoorji Pallonji and NCC, the Minister shared.

The Cabinet has approved decisions taken by CRDA meeting, he said. The Cabinet approved allotment of lands to various companies. In municipal administration department, 40 building instructor posts will be upgraded, said the Minister.

9 Anna canteens will be opened newly. The Cabinet approved easing the process of getting approvals in laws for building construction. The Cabinet decided to make tennis player Saket Sai deputy Collector.




It was decided to give 12.07 acres in Tirupati’s Vadamalapeta to the tourism department, the Minister shared.
