AP Chief Secretary opens office in Vijayawada!

In a major boost to shifting of administration from Hyderabad to Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary, IYR Krishna Rao today started his office in Vijayawada. Formal rituals were conducted before entering the office.

He will be staying in Vijayawada for about 4-5 days a week following the Chief Minister who recently setup his camp office in Vijayawada. The government is already silently shifting some of the offices to Vijayawada. Already few ministers are totally working out of there.

The state government plans to shift at least 12000 employees to Amaravati by the end of the year. Accommodation and office space is being arranged for them to make sure the shifting is smooth.
