The Election Commission has announced the schedule of upcoming General Elections in Andhra Pradesh. The polling in Andhra Pradesh will be held on May 13.
This is a good sign for the Telugu Desam Party as it consistently won the election whenever the Andhra Pradesh polling was conducted in the month of May.
In 2004, elections in Andhra Pradesh were held on April 20 and 26. TDP lost to Congress at that time. In 2009, the polling was held on April 16 and 20. TDP once again lost in those elections.
In 2014, the elections were held on May 7 in Andhra Pradesh. TDP emerged victorious at that time. In 2019, the polling was held on April 11 and TDP was defeated in those elections.
Now, May 13th has been decided as the polling date. As the May works for the TDP, the cadre and supporters are quite happy and are confident about the party repeating the positive sentiment once again.
