AP employees adamant, deadlock in shifting

AP-employeesLooks like the government’s plans of shifting administration from Hyderabad to Amaravati is not progressing as expected. Employees unions are not co-operating with the government in this issue unless they solve the various contentious issues like Local Status etc.

They are pressurizing the government to put off the shifting plans until the next year. Changing the local status can be done only by the President of India and so the state government has to approach the center to ensure the deadlock is solved.

However, the state government decided to shift camp offices of the chief minister, heads of departments, the chief secretary, the DGP and a few ministers to Vijayawada with some governance infrastructure in place.
