AP govt flexes rules for Muslims in Ramzan!

The auspicious Ramzan month for Muslim community begins today. To facilitate Muslim employees to fast during this month. Andhra Pradesh government has given some flexibility to those employees. According to the new directive, Muslim employees are allowed to finish their work and go home by 4 PM in the evening till the end of the holy month.

On the other side, in Telangana, Hyderabad city has geared up for the holy month.Mosques across the city are painted and whitewashed. Traders have stocked their shelves with various things used during the festival like Prayer rugs, Kharakuli caps, kurta pajamas, dates etc. Restaurateurs have built several bhattis (brick ovens) to cater to the thousands who descend to the Old City to have a bowl or two of haleem. The prices of haleem have gone up by 15 percent this year.
