According to the trusted sources, Andhra Pradesh state government is planning to construct a huge NTR statue on Godavari River between East and West Godavari districts. AP government wants it to be an iconic monument just like the Buddha Statue in Hussainsagar, Hyderabad. Earlier it was said that the government may plan such statue in the capital region, but now they feel Godavari is the apt place.
Recently a B.Tech Student from Rajahmundry submitted a imaginary plan of such statue to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and it is said to be very impressive. We are said that the government may invite people’s participation in the state construction just like how Gujarat government is collecting iron for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Statue.
