AP Independence day event in Vishakapatnam

Andhra Pradesh government had decided that the upcoming Independence day event will happen in Vishakapatnam. The National flag will be hoisted in RK Beach. Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao had instructed Visakhapatnam Collector to make necessary arrangements.

Earlier this year, Kurnool hosted the Republic day celebrations. This is the first major government event in Visakhapatnam after Hudhud Cyclone. This decision is being welcomed by the local people.

Chandrababu will be taking a family tour to Turkey from August 2nd and will be back days before the event. There will be a five days assembly session from August 31st, they say there will be a cabinet expansion after the session.
