AP ACB Court has extended remand for the accused in AP liquor scam. The Court said it was extending remand till August 13. Till date, 12 accused have been arrested in the case.
As their remand was over, SIT officials brought 9 accused from Vijayawada sub jail to Court. Dhanunjaya Reddy, Krishnamohan Reddy, Raj Kasireddy, Paila Dilip, Venkatesh Naidu, Booneti Chanakya, Balaji Govindappa, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Sajjala Sridhar Reddy were taken from Vijayawada jail.
Two from Guntur district jail were brought and MP Mithun Reddy was brought from Rajahmundry jail to the Court.
SIT officials are working to retrieve documents and money laundered as a part of liquor scam. It is known that Rs 11 crore was found at a farmhouse in Hyderabad.
Amidst raids at various places, rumours are rife that ex CM Jagan will be arrested any time soon in connection with the case. SIT claims that Jagan was the final recipient of the kickbacks in the liquor case.
