AP Minister Gautham Reddy Passed Away

Andhra Pradesh IT and Industries Minister Mekapati Gautham Reddy (49) has passed away. He was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad this morning due to a heart attack and died at the emergency department. On arrival at the hospital, Gautam appeared to be in critical condition.

Despite receiving emergency treatment, he could not be saved. Apollo doctors informed Gautham’s wife that he was dead. The family members were shellshocked with this unexpected development. Supporters and YCP activists were plunged into deep tragedy with his sudden death.

Gautham arrived in Hyderabad yesterday (Sunday) after a week-long visit to Dubai where in he tried to bring some investments to the state at Dubai Expo. He is the son of former MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy. He is representing Atmakur constituency of Nellore district
