
The state budget for fiscal year 2025-26 was presented by Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav in the Assembly today. The state government presented Rs 3.2 lakh crore budget for the year 2025-26.
Of this, Rs 2,51,162 lakh crore is the estimated revenue expenditure, while Rs 40,635 crore is the capital expenditure. Talliki Vandanam and Annadata Sukhibhava promised under the Super Six poll promises made their way into the Budget.

While Talliki Vandanam got an allocation of Rs 9407 crore fulfilling the wish of mothers, the farmers who have been anxiously waiting for sops got an allocation of Rs 6,300 crore under Annadata Sukhibhava. The farmers will now be given Rs 20000 under the scheme per annum.
The opposition has been questioning and putting pressure on government regarding Super Six. The budget for 2025-26 includes two main promises from Super Six that will be implemented from the coming year.

Talliki Vandanam and Annadata Sukhibhava are the major highlights of the budget and will put a stop to constant demands from opposition.
When implemented, it will highlight the government’s success and keep the opposition in check.
