An arrest warrant has been issued against Perni Nani by the Machilipatnam Court. The issue dates back to 2019.
In 2019, the police filed a case against TDP workers Chandu and Sriharsha. Ex minister Perni Nani was the witness in the case. However, he did not attend the hearings of the case repeatedly.
Due to this, an arrest warrant has been issued by the Machilipatnam Court against Perni Nani. The Court ordered the police to produce him before the Court.
Later, it postponed the next hearing to September 19. Interestingly, there was talk of Perni Nani getting arrested in distribution of fake land pattas case.
He and his son Perni Kittu distributed 5000 land pattas prior to 2024 elections.
He was also involved in hoarding and diverting PDS rice during YSRCP’s term. Ironically, even as his arrest in both the cases is still under consideration, an arrest warrant has been issued on a totally different case that dates back to six years.
But is this just the beginning, wonder analysts.
