BJP Using Telangana Mantra to Buy Time?

BJP led Central government to seem to be focused on buying time on the Special Status issue. The Saffron Party is thinking on the lines to brush the issue under the carpet until the end of the ongoing monsoon session of parliament and see it later. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley talked to CM Chandrababu Naidu on the issue the other day.

Jaitley reportedly told Naidu that if the center announces something for Andhra Pradesh, it may rake similar demands from Telangana as well. He went on to say that it will be a huge problem for BJP as the Prime Minister is visiting Telangana for the first time later this week.If something is announced for Andhra now, Modi will be forced to announce something for Telangana as well during his visit.

So Jaitley asked Naidu to maintain composure for some more days. He promised Naidu to compensate somehow for Special Status loss. But at the same time, the AP CM reportedly did not give him any promise as opposition parties are taking advantage of the situation and things are out of control as of now.
