Bandhs back in Telangana over Polavaram row!

Telangana region has witnessed more number of bandhs than any other state or region in the last 3-4 years. The bandh culture which began for attaining separate statehood culture is continuing even after the state is achieved. It is known that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao himself called for Bandh oppsoing the Polavaramordinance brought out by Central government.

Now TRS party has given a bandh call in Khammam district tomorrow opposing the passing of Polavaram bill in the Parliament. On the other side, Telangana JAC had called for the entire state bandh tomorrow. Communist parties have also extended their support to the bandh calling Central government’s moves against the federal spirit. The Telangana government is also planning to move to the Supreme court terming that the center has resorted to unconstitutional methods in passing amendments to Andhra Pradesh Re-organizational bill.
