Bankers delay Loan Waiver in AP!

Bankers in Andhra Pradesh are as slow as snails in giving the details of Crop Loans eligible for Loan Waiver. They say the server of NIC on to which the details needed to be uploaded is slow as the reason for the delay. However the government recently increased the server capacity by 3 times. There are 675 loans in each bank on an average which can be uploaded in maximum of a week. But government suspects massive irregularities are pegging back the banks from submitting the details.

The government has also informed the banks to employ freelance data entry operators if in the case they do not have time to give the details. So far only 20-25% of the details have reached the government. Rural banks are very active in submitting the details while Semi-Urban and Urban banks are too slow. Government suspect massive irregularities in this banks. If we consider district wise, Vizianagaram is good in submitting the details and Guntur is worse.
