Beware Hyderabad Lovers!

A Police Inspector in Hyderabad took law in to hands and made couples to do sit-ups for allegedly hanging together in a Public park. This incident took place in Golconda Police Station limits involved Muslim community. While few Muslim people lauded the work of the Inspector as the effort to save Islamic values, Social activists foul cry that Police can not become law breakers by taking law in to their own hands.

Naimuddin Javed is the Inspector involved. However, his higher authorities remained tight-lipped in this issue. They say Javed’s action is not legal according to law books but is morally correct in ensuring the safety of women. The inspector himself defends that he may not be allowed to arrest couple for hanging out together but he will be answerable if any untoward incident like rape takes place. Hence he is on moral policing.
