A new session of Telangana Assembly begins on Wednesday. The crucial issue of farmers suicides is likely to rock the assembly and the other key issue in the assembly is how Revanth Reddy will fare in his second innings.
It is indeed a second innings for Revanth Reddy as he got a new leash of political life now after the Cash for Vote scam. There are reports that he may be elevated as Telangana TDP President and in the wake of all this, this session gains prominence.

Revanth Reddy is always a thorn in the flesh of Telangana government. However the state government successfully managed to shut him in the house.
In one session they did not allow him to speak alleging that he used objectionable language on KCR’s daughter. In the next session, the government completely suspended TDP members from the house alleging that they did not maintain discipline during national anthem.
The government is looking to counter Revanth Reddy in the house with the Cash for Vote issue. The lack of unity in opposition parties helped the government sail through easily in the previous session. This time too pinning down the government will depend on how united the parties are. Revanth Reddy if successful in this session can portray himself as future of TDP in Telangana as well as the bigger position in the state politics.
