After the ground breaking ceremony on June 6th, the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) will be making the biggest recruitment drive by any urban regulatory authority in the country. CRDA plans to employ 778 personnel including planners and architects to give shape to the master plan that is made by the Singapore team.

The CRDA has proposed five major departments, 21 divisions and 42 sections with a total of 778 open positions. 294 posts are being created in the planning department, 231 posts in the urban services and infrastructure department, 115 posts in estates and environment department, 108 posts in administration department, 28 posts in finance and accounts department and two posts for internal audit division. These positions are to be filled in the next one year.
For most posts, the starting salary will be around Rs 30,000 per month with the minimum qualification of a post-graduation degree. Most of the posts will be on a contract basis for three to five years initially and will be made permanent as per the requirement in future. In addition to this big number of jobs are expected from capital region due to Amaravathi’s mega project scope over the next few years.
