BJP Has Criticized The Jagan Government Within Limits!!

BJP President JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently visited different regions of Andhra Pradesh, namely Rayalaseema and Uttaraandhra, respectively. It is noted that in the past four years, the BJP leadership did not openly criticize Chief Minister Jagan and his government in Andhra Pradesh during their visits to the state.
However, on this occasion, the BJP leaders toured with a clear political agenda and for the first time, they criticized Jagan and his government, albeit within certain boundaries. The criticism made by Nadda and Amit Shah focused on issues such as corruption in the Jagan government, the absence of Prime Minister Modi’s photo on Central Schemes, the high number of suicides in the state, and the reported abundance of ganja supply.

It is mentioned that they remained silent on certain specific incidents, such as the involvement of YS Avinash Reddy and the controversy surrounding the Vizag Steel plant. Additionally, it is stated that the BJP did not respond when Hindu temples were reportedly destroyed in Andhra Pradesh. It is acknowledged that there are various points of criticism against the AP government.

The state leaders of the BJP also refrained from making direct and constructive criticism against Chief Minister YS Jagan. The reason for this approach is explained as the concern that raising certain issues may be misunderstood by the public. By criticizing the YSRCP government to some extent, the BJP aims to convey a message to the people that they are tough on Jagan’s administration.

However, the extent to which the people will believe this message remains to be seen. It is also mentioned that the BJP leadership is primarily focusing on Telangana, where elections are scheduled to be held by the end of the year.
