BJP Should Clean Itself in Gujarat Before Blaming AP

We have been hearing about Andhra Pradesh Government not submitting Utilization Certificates (UCs) for the Central Funds. BJP even alleges that the Center is not helping the state as it suspects massive misuse of funds by the ruling party in AP.

But then, the cat is out of the bag exposing the lies of the Saffron Party. Comptroller Auditor General (CAG) report of Gujarat for the year 2016 revealed that 7164 Utilisation Certificates aggregating to 5385.4 Crore were pending. Interestingly, these UCs were pending from 2001-02 to 2015-16.

That reveals that the UCs are pending since Modi’s tenure in Gujarat. But then, the UPA led Central Government did not stop funds for the Gujarat government even though it was ruled by their opposition party. The funds did not stop even as the state was then led by a potential Prime Minister candidate.
