Coming months seem to be testing times for the alliance between TDP and BJP. TDP has grown strength to strength after the elections in Andhra Pradesh and also has its voter base intact in Khammam and Hyderabad districts of Telangana. BJP wants to snap ties with TDP and grow alone in both the states.
But according to the policy of BJP, it does not want to snap the ties on its own. So they are planning to force TDP to do it for them. Accordingly BJP will be demanding unreasonable number of seats for the upcoming civic polls in GHMC and Vishakapatnam. They will be forcing TDP in to a situation that it can not offer the demanded seats and will announce to go alone in the elections.
Subsequently the alliance will be broken by TDP itself. On the other side, TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu is cautious as Andhra Pradesh will definitely need the support of the Central ruling party to develop the state. We will have to see how he sustains this!
