Vijayawada Central MLA, Bonda Uma Maheswara Rao’s son, Raviteja is once again in bad light after his gang, a group of youngsters vroomed in the heart of the city in their cars and bikes. It is said that the rally was taken to celebrate Raviteja’s Birthday.

The rally passed through Mogalrajapuram, Gayatri Nagar, Bandar Road and Eluru Road with Raviteja and his friends hanging on to the car doors and bursting crackers. More than a dozen bikes followed the fleet of cars by honking all their way.
People who are live witnesses to the so called rally say Constables who were manning the traffic at different points during the rally only stood as mute spectators with out stopping them. When contacted, police officials said they were not aware of the rally and they assured they will look in to it.
