Botsa Drops Another Bomb on Amaravati

Municipal and Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana is continuing to rake Confusion on the Capital. Botsa raked in a new issue which casts doubts over YSR Congress’ commitment towards Amaravati. In a media conference, Botsa went on to say that the previous government did not even give Gazette Notification about the Capital.

“There is no Gazette Notification making Amaravati as the Capital of Andhra Pradesh. Amaravati is also a Temporary Arrangement like several Temporary Buildings in the Capital Region. Chandrababu Naidu should answer why his Government did not give the Gazette Notification,” Botsa said.

Botsa is indirectly indicating that his Government has no legal obligation about the Capital and can change it any time. Farmers who have given lands for the Capital are in extreme distress about their future. Already the Real Estate in the Capital came to a Standstill and the rates have also plummeted.

It is a tragedy that the Government is intentionally giving leaks against the Capital and hurting the Investor Sentiment. Interestingly, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is yet to address the media ever since the speculations about the Capital change started.
