Balineni Srinivas Reddy sent his resignaation letter via email to Jagan Mohan Reddy. It is reported that he has been unhappy with Jagan’s approach to managing the party.

Balineni had been upset with YCP’s high command ever since the conclusion of the general elections. He was disappointed as he didn’t get enough support from the party when he filed a petition at the court citing irregularities in the EVM and VVPAT machines at a few polling booths in Ongole.

Recently, Jagan met with Balineni in an attempt to appease him. However, his efforts were unsuccessful, and Balineni eventually left the party.

Balineni had been with the YCP since its inception. He also served as a minister under Jagan in the YCP government. He was a four-time MLA from the Ongole constituency.

According to the sources, Balineni will most likely join the Jana Sena Party. He is expected to meet JSP chief Pawan Kalyan tomorrow and make a decision after the meeting.
