BRS Party MLC Elections

The Election Commission of India had released the Schedule for MLC elections for both the Telugu States.

In Telangana, Elections will be conducted for two Teachers’ MLC seats and one Graduates’ MLC seat.

The constituencies going to polls include Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda (Teachers), Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar (Teachers), and Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar (Graduates).

Congress and the BJP Parties are preparing for the elections as the nominations should be filed from February 3 to February 10.

But there is complete silence in the BRS.

From the last few months, there has been so much noise from the BRS. KTR is crisscrossing the state in the name of one protest or the other. Harish Rao is also coming before the media and is talking every now and then.

Padi Kaushik Reddy is making noise with various stunts every week.

While the decibels are high on the streets, the party has become completely silent in elections.

It is emerging that the BRS had decided to boycott the elections fearing the natural advantage for the Ruling Party.

BRS lost in the 2023 Assembly Elections and it got decimated completely in the Parliament Elections. If it skips the MLC elections as well, the morale of the cadres will be very badly hit.

The Panchayat Elections are around the corner in Telangana.

If the party skips an election just before that, it is sending a very wrong signal to the cadres as well as the Public.

Forget about the ruling party, BRS is also leaving space of the Opposition to the BJP.

The Saffron Party will be fixated as the Opposition in the Public memory if BRS skips the elections.

BJP announced the candidates ahead of the Ruling Party. It is going to deploy the Union Ministers for the Campaign.




Leaving aside the result, the party is sending an indication that it is next to Congress in Telangana which is very dangerous for BRS.
