BRS Workers, Send Urine Samples To Congress

Tensions are rising between the Congress party and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) after a police raid on a farmhouse owned by K. T. Rama Rao’s brother-in-law, Raj Pakala.

Following this incident, Congress MP Anil Kumar Yadav called for drug tests on all BRS leaders and workers defending Raj Pakala.

Anil Kumar Yadav stated that the drug issue threatens Telangana’s future and accused BRS leaders of promoting drugs instead of supporting the government’s efforts for a drug-free state.

In response, BRS leader Krishank Manne suggested that BRS members send urine samples to Anil Kumar Yadav for testing.

The police raid occurred on October 26-27, during a party at Raj Pakala’s farmhouse, where drugs and unauthorized liquor were found. Vijay Madduri, another attendee, tested positive for cocaine.

KTR defended his family and accused the Congress government of targeting them to cover up their failures.

On Tuesday, BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy claimed the police tried to frame him by planting drugs in his car. He and other BRS MLAs agreed to drug tests if Congress members would also participate.
