Cabinet Nod To Add Amaravati in Reorganisation Act

The cabinet meeting headed by Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu was held on Thursday. The state Cabinet thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for relaunching the capital works. The Cabinet also approved the inclusion of the name Amaravati in place of divided Andhra Pradesh capital in Reorganisation Act.

Various key decisions were taken during the meeting. The Cabinet approved the law amendment for inclusion of the name Amaravati in Reorganisation Act. This resolution will be forwarded to the Center, so the Bill can be passed.

The decisions taken during the 47th CRDA meeting were also approved. Land allocations for various organisations were approved during the meeting. Discussions were held regarding Talliki Vandanam, Annadata Sukhibhava. They reviewed security along the coastline and of the facilities related to defence.

The Cabinet congratulated the Armed Forces for successfully carrying out Operation Sindoor. The Cabinet expressed the view that the name was meaningful and resonated with the sentiments of people. They decided to name state government policies on similar lines.

They discussed about security on the country’s borders at length. The Cabinet also discussed about security in places like Vizag, Machilipatnam, Nagayalanka. The CM directed the ministers to be careful about security along coastline.

The Cabinet gave a nod to increase of money given to fishermen when fishing is halted and organizing mega events to boost the image of AP.

The municipal department decided to take up 281 works in hybrid annuity mode. The Cabinet decided to withdraw 3 law amendment bills from YSRCP time, that are with the Center.
